Under the General tab you register different tool information.
The tool group information is automatically loaded, but you can also enter unique information for each tool. All information in italics has been inherited from the tool group. If any exceptions from the tool group have been registered, this is indicated in bold font.
Under Prices you can enter standard price, unit and fixed asset for a tool.
Under Classification you can enter tool code, product group and adjustment/calibration product group.
Under Planning you can enter EOQ, reorder point and round-off quantity.
For Measuring tools or Special tools you can check the box Contains entities. For tools that contain entities you can enter an entity but no Entity info.
For Special tools you can enter information under the Special tool heading.
For Assembled and Fictitious tools you can only register sub-tools with name and quantity under the Structure/BOM list heading.
Under the Translation button you can translate the tool name into the selected language.
Under the Standard price log button you can see previously saved standard prices for the tool.
Under the Comment button you can enter a tool comment.
At the bottom of the window you can see when the tool was created and by whom.
