Outline

Under Detail Planning in the Workshop Info module, you will find procedures used to show information that represents the foundation or basis used for performing Detail planning of work orders in work centers. Priority plans are created for selected work centers, which can then be used by the operators in their daily work when they confirm work orders.

Below you will find a brief description of all the procedures that can be found under the Detail Planning menu in the Workshop Info module of a complete MONITOR system.

Priority Planning

This procedure is used to replan and prioritize those operations that have been planned to be executed by a particular work center. You can see information about manufacturing orders, incorporated operations and material, in order to get a general idea of the situation prior to detail planning.

Priority Planning List

Here you can print the Priority Plans that were created in the Priority Planning procedure. This list can be compared to the one that is printed in the Orders / Work Center procedure in the Manufacturing module, that also shows all the operations planned to be executed in the selected work centers. The difference is that the operations are shown in order of priority in the Priority Planning List procedure.

Planning Board

This procedure contains a landscape staple chart showing how the selected work centers have been loaded with operations. You can see how much work is Ready to run, Not ready to run and In progress. You can open the Priority Planning procedure via this list.
