Subcontract Documents

If there are subcontract documents linked to an incorporated part, you can choose if and how they should be printed (subcontract purchase order and subcontract delivery note). The available alternatives are:

• Do not print - no subcontract documents will be printed
• Print automatically - the documents are printed without any additional selections after printing the regular manufacturing order document. However, before printout you can choose Preview under the Window functions to activate the Subcontract documents tab and make additional selections.
• Optional afterwards - you can print subcontract documents after printing the regular manufacturing order documents under the Subcontract documents tab. This tab must be activate by using Preview under the Window functions before printing the manufacturing order documents.
• Print only - only subcontract documents are printed without any additional selections. However, before printout you can choose Preview under the Window functions to activate the Subcontract documents tab and make additional selections.

After printout the subcontract document status is updated to Printed. A printout date is then set and a purchase order number is created. You can select if the status shall be updated automatically or not. This is determined by the setting Ask about updating status after printing subcontract documents?, under Orders under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure.
