General Information about Update Color Code

What Does This Procedure Do?

If you want to change the color coding standard for calibrated tools, you can use the Update Color Code procedure to change or calculate new RGB color codes. According to the standard used today, four colors that are use. They are changed every year according to a rolling schedule.

However, you can change the color code for each year in the table. If you change color code for one year, you can determine if that year's value shall be updated every fourth year.

In the Update Tool and Calibration Reporting procedures you will see the correct color, color description and month that the tool should be marked with after calibration. This is based on the next calibration date.

Tools that do not have to be calibrated are marked with brown. This is registered in the Update Tool procedure.

Please Note! You normally do not need to change the color codes. But it is possible to do so if, for example, the color code standard for calibrated tools should change.
