The Quantity column will be shown instead of Unit time if one of the time units "quantity/hours", "quantity/minutes" or "quantity/cminutes" has been selected in the Time unit for setup time and unit time for operations under Preparation under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure. Here you enter the number of operations that you expect to use per selected time unit.
If the selected work center is a subcontracting work center, you do not enter the number of operations per time unit. Independently of the time unit used for the preparation, you should always enter the subcontracting cost for the operation in the company currency selected in the Company Info procedure in the Global Settings module. For subcontractors, this column is therefore shown in red font.
