Why Use This Procedure?
In the Company Info procedure you enter all information about the company. In the procedure there are two tabs in the standard version of MONITOR. If you have installed the supplement called Warehouse Management, a third tab will become available. Read more about this in the text below.
The first tab is called Addresses etc., and this is where you register information about your company, such as the mailing address, delivery address, telephone number, VAT registration number etc. This information can for example be printed in the footer of certain forms.
The second tab is called References, and in it you create a table containing your references in the company. The table should contain a list of all the users who are involved in purchases and sales.
At the bottom of the window there is an Extra info button where you can enter information for the company regarding shipping and advising via EDI.
Warehouse Management
If you have installed the warehouse management supplement, you will also have access to the Transport time and terms between warehouses tab. Here you can enter a transport time in number of workdays per registered warehouse.
When using warehouse management you will in this procedure find company information which applies to all warehouses as well as company info which is unique for each warehouse. The field headings that appear in italics display the information that applies for all warehouses.
The warehouses are registered by using the Change warehouse button in the Window functions. Read more about warehouse management in the MONITOR Basics under the Using MONITOR Procedures guide.
Please Note! You cannot delete a warehouse after it has been registered. Therefore you should be certain of how many warehouses that should be registered. However, you can change the name of an existing warehouse. Remember that when you have a large database, the system requires a lot of time to register a warehouse.
