General Information about Where-Used

What Does This Procedure Do?

In this procedure you can, in the Search Form, print a report that shows in which higher level parts a certain component part is incorporated. This is also where you decide how many part structure levels that should be displayed. You update BOM lists (Bill of Material lists) in the Preparation procedure.

If you have configured certain terms in the BOM list during Preparation, the material is displayed as incorporated material in this procedure regardless of that term.

As a complement you can use the Consists of (Structure List) procedure that shows just the opposite information, i.e. of which underlying parts a structure part consists.

See a printout sample of the list .

What Update Options Exist for this Procedure?

There are no update options in this procedure.

Can Any Charts Be Displayed?

The right portion of the window consists of a graphic image of a structure map. In this structure map you can see all the incorporated parts and the configured levels, as well as the part types of each respective part. You can also see quantities of those component parts that are incorporated in a higher level part. The different part types; Purchased, Manufactured, Stocked and Fictitious are represented by different color symbols.
