Reconciliation of the Accounts receivable account

In order to reconcile the accounts receivable account, the following classifications and selections must be configured in the Accounts Receivable Ledger procedure.

  1. Classify by Accounts receivable account. If you leave the fields empty and there is a difference, the accounts with a difference will be shown in the list. However, you can also enter an account or an interval of accounts.
  2. Select to view Unpaid.
  3. Select the desired reconciliation date in the Ledger date field.
  4. Select if you want to convert the currency. The default alternative is Registered rate.
  5. Select the Only total list.
  6. Select the alternative Reconciliation against general ledger. This list then compares the balance (residual value) in the accounts receivable with the balance in the account in the general ledger. If there is a difference between the accounts receivable and the general ledger you have the option to link to a reconciliation function that will reconcile the accounts receivable against the general ledger day by day.
