Outline

Under the Services / Sellers heading in the Sales module, you will find procedures that are related to updating and statistics for services and sellers.

Below you will find a brief description of all the procedures that can be found under the Services / Sellers menu in the Sales module of a complete MONITOR system.

Update Services

This is where you register and update services. Services (such as fees or remuneration, traveling expenses etc.) are not saved in the part register. An important difference between a part and a service is that a service does not have a stock balance. You can choose whether a service should update statistics or not during invoicing.

Service List

You can print lists from the service register from this procedure. You create, modify and delete services in the Update Services procedure.

Service Statistics

Here you can print sales statistics for each service. You can create both sales and purchase statistics for customer and purchase order rows that have row type 3 (Services).

Rename Service

Here you can rename the codes on services in the service register. When changing a service code, the service codes will be replaced in all databases where it is used such as in the service register, customer order log and claims. When renaming service codes you can choose to generate the new service codes from consecutive number and format.

Update Seller

Here you can register or update sellers (your sales force), or delete sellers that are no longer active. During customer order/invoicing, you can enter the seller that applies, which in turn creates sales statistics per seller. You can also assign a seller to a particular district, which makes it possible to select a list using this term. You can also create budgets for each seller. This value is then used as a comparative figure when printing statistics. The seller register can be printed or displayed on your screen using the Seller List procedure.

Seller List

You can create printouts from the seller register from this procedure. You create, modify and delete sellers in the Update Seller procedure.

Seller Statistics

Here you can print sales statistics for each seller (salesman). A seller can sell both parts and services. This represents total sales statistics including the row types 1 (Part), 2 (Addl. order row) and 3 (Services).
