Under the Delivery Instructions there are three fields that can be used to exchange EUR pallets in a pallet pool.
Approved EUR Pallets
Here the system automatically deducts the number of approved EUR pallets that the shipment has been packed with.
EUR pallets must be registered in the part register using part type "Packaging part" and "EUR pallet" checked under the Shipping info tab. Parts that are delivered must have EUR pallets registered as "Packaging part" and "Qty/Package" under the Shipping info tab, in order for the pallets to be properly deducted.
In order for a shipping agent to register pallets, both the Shipper and Receiver must be part of the same pallet registration system.
Receiver’s Pallet Registration Number
The Receiver’s pallet registration number can be loaded via Source of info, but you can also enter another number (other than the receiver’s GAN/Customer number).
Shipper’s Pallet Registration Number
The Shipper’s pallet registration number can be loaded via Source of info, but you can also enter another number (other than the shipper’s GAN/Customer number).
