What Does This Procedure Do?
This procedure allows you to print different transport labels (also known as "pallet labels") that can be placed on recently arrived goods, before it is placed in your warehouse.
There are 3 different transport label formats: The type called Transport Label is an A4 landscape format. The type called Label is an A5 landscape format (half an A4). The type called Small Label is 76x49 mm and is suitable as a sticker to attach on smaller goods such as bags and small boxes or cartons. The Transport Label and the Label has the same layout and contains the same information, whereas the Small Label has a different layout.
You can print transport labels for arrived goods, or for goods that is awaiting receiving inspection. In other words, you can only print transport labels for parts on purchase orders that have a partial delivery or a final delivery made (orders with Status 5-9).
If you select the Arrived option, you can print transport labels for all the arrival reported orders whose parts are ready to be placed in stock. This includes all orders that do not require a receiving inspection on parts, and those orders that have been receiving inspected and approved. It can be selected if only arrival reported rows reported in the Receiving Inspection Reporting or in the Arrival Reporting procedures) should be displayed. These options are available at the bottom of the Search form:
If you select the Receiving Inspection option, you can print transport labels for all orders on which parts have arrived but must be receiving inspected. This only includes orders that require a receiving inspection on parts, where the parts have not yet been receiving inspected.
You can choose if you want to print the quantity per package on all the transport labels.
You can define a default printer per user for this procedure in the Users procedure. There you should enter the default printer in the Special 2 field.
Managing Windows
The Search Form in this procedure consists of two portions. In the left portion of the window, you can select the printout by entering an interval of order numbers, supplier codes, part numbers or arrival dates. If you leave these fields empty, the system will print transport labels for all the orders that have been partially delivered or delivered in full.
You can use the Preliminary selection in the Window functions, to open the right portion of the window. Here you can manually enter the quantity per package, how many copies should be printed, and also uncheck the print box for those orders that you do not want to print transport labels for. In this mode, you can also choose to Preview the printout. Also see a printout sample of the transport label .
