Allowance for On-time Deliveries

When you select the Delivery reliability list, you can enter an allowance of “plus days delayed” or “minus days early” under Allowance for on-time deliveries. The quantity can be shown in days or weeks, depending on the period format that you selected under Format.

It is this allowance, together with the delivery period that you have chosen to compare with (under Period) that determines whether the delivered orders (arrivals) are delayed, too early or within the approved allowance limits.

You can enter default allowance values here. These can be either unique values for the supplier entered in the Update Supplier procedure or it can be default values entered under Supplier Rating under the Purchase tab in the Settings procedure.

The supplier's allowances will override the general allowances!
