Check Material

(Default). Here you select if you want to check available material made for the incorporated material in the structure. When you have selected this alternative, the following alternatives will be available:

Suggestions

This alternative calculates with existing material requirements and purchase order suggestions. You may include this alternative if, for example, you have performed requirements planning for the delivery schedules and these suggestions should be included in the simulation.

Explode S-part

Here you can select to explode the incorporated S-parts. The explosion is made for the lot size defined for the part, and the capacity and material check are made in the same way for the incorporated operations and materials.

If the lead time entered for the part is more favorable than an existing order, an explosion and a calculation of the delivery time check is made for a new order. A comparison is made between the delivery period provided by the delivery time check and the existing order's planned finish period. If the existing order then provides a better result the existing order is used for New arrival period.

Await Order Within Grace Period

If you have checked this box, the CDT will not analyze the fastest way of getting a part. If there is an existing order within the part's grace period that has the capacity to fulfill the requirement according to the check delivery times, this order's delivery date will be entered as New period. If you have not checked this box, the fastest way of the alternatives await an already existing order or manufacture/purchase the part again will be selected.
