What Does This Procedure Do?
From the Create tab in this procedure you can load a list in order to update the physical inventory months for different range of parts. This procedure can for example help you to, over the year, have an even distribution of parts per month to inventory.
It is possible to change the default percentage distribution for each month, if so desired. The general function Saving and Loading Default Values in Search Forms is suitable to use in order to get any other default percentage distribution.
A part can have 1 or 2 inventory months. You can choose to calculate physical inventory month 1 or both physical inventory month 1 and 2 for a range of parts. For example, it might be desirable to perform physical inventory twice a year for a part with a high volume value. If no physical inventory month has been selected, you can instead manually enter the inventory months for the parts in the list.
If many calculations have been run at several times using different range of parts, you can see the result of the distribution per month. This is made by loading the list without selecting a physical inventory month. This way you can see if the distribution of the inventories by accident has become too uneven per month.
See a printout sample of the list with comments.
