When selecting the Fixed assets list classified by Object, you can choose if the fixed asset register should be shown per Current or Historical date.
If you choose Historical, you enter an optional date prior to today in the Date field. The list will then show the fixed asset register's value per the entered date. Thus, it is possible to see the value of the fixed assets e.g. a year ago. Compare with the ledger date in the accounts payable ledger and accounts receivable ledger.
