Dynamic Links

Here you will find descriptions of some of the functions that occur in dynamic links in the Info Menu (when right-clicking).

Link from Lists to Registration Procedures

You can link to related registration procedures from marked data in a list. You can for example mark a customer code in a list and open that code in the Update Customer procedure by using a dynamic link.

Link from Registration Procedures to Other Registration or Calculation Procedures

You can link to other related registration, calculation or list procedures from marked data in a registration procedure. You can for example mark a part number on a customer order row and perform a check of the delivery time for that part number by using a dynamic link. Under the Main tab in the Register Purchase Order procedure you can open the current supplier in the Update Supplier procedure.

Link from Buttons in Info Procedures to Different Log Registers

You can link to lists used for different logs and statistics from the corresponding buttons in the Info procedures Part Info, Customer Info and Supplier Info. In for example the Part Info procedure you can, via a dynamic link in the Info Menu over the Inventory log button, open the loaded part in the Historical Inventory Movements procedure.

Link from Activities to Monitoring Tasks

You can link to the Monitoring Tasks* procedure to create new monitoring tasks based on the selected activity under the CRM, SRM and Activities tabs, where they occur.

Paste Files from Clipboard

If MONITOR is run via a remote desktop or as a shared application on a terminal server, you can use the dynamic link called Paste Files from Clipboard to copy files from a local computer to MONITOR on the terminal server. This is useful for XML files in MONITOR-to-MONITOR as well as to create references based on business cards (vCard). This function replaces the "Drag and drop" function that does not work between local computers and remote desktops. You will find this link in the:
