SMS

In this section, you will find settings that apply to SMS sendings.

Service

Here you select SMS operator for the SMS service. The SMS operators that MONITOR currently supports are:

• SMS Teknik (SMTP/HTTP)
• Good Systems (SMTP)
• TellusTalk (SMTP) - For Tellustalk you do not need to enter any information below, since they only need to know from which domain you should be able to send SMS.
• SoftIT (HTTP) - Please Note! You must inform SoftIT that your company will use the service to send SMS messages from MONITOR.

An account must exist at the selected operator in order to be able to use their service. Please contact the operators above for further information about the SMS accounts.

Also make sure that the correct settings have been made here for the e-mail server in the Fax / E-mail section if you have selected any of the SMPT operators, since the message in this case is sent to the operator as an e-mail message (unlike the HTTP options where the message is transmitted directly).

Account/user name

Here you enter an account or user name that is used at the selected operator. This field apply to SMS Teknik (SMPT/HTTP) and SoftIT.

Password

Here you enter a password that is used at the selected operator. This field applies to SMS Teknik (HTTP), Good Systems and SoftIT.

Additional info - Account type / ID

For certain operators you can also enter additional information, such as account type or an ID. The field is valid for SMS Teknik (HTTP) and SoftIT. Check with the operator what to enter here.
