General Information about External Categories

External Categories is a supplement to MONITOR that is used during e-commerce solutions.

Why Use This Procedure?

The External Categories is used to divide the range of parts into meaningful categories for the customer. This is where you select which term that will be used to determine which parts that shall be included in each external category. This can for example be based on the part category, part code or part number.

This procedure consists of a table where you register categories and descriptions regarding the categories. In the lower portion of the window you will find a table used to translate the categories.
