You can register several different exchange rates (such as buying rate and selling rate) for each currency. That is why you can register several different variations of the same currency code. For example USD = Currency code for selling rate, USB = Currency code for buying rate. As a form code you enter USD for both currency codes, so that the external currency code on forms will always be USD.
