Transport Mode
Used for EDI (Odette/Edifact). This is where you enter the code for the main mode of transport for this delivery method. The code refers to "Mode of Transport" according to Odette/Edifact standards in the EDI-messages that are exported from the system. You should use one of the following codes:
- 10 - Maritime transport
- 12 - Maritime transport of railroad car
- 16 - Maritime transport of road vehicle
- 17 - Maritime transport of trailer or vehicle trailer
- 18 - Maritime transport of vessel for inland waterways
- 20 - Rail transport
- 23 - Rail transport of road vehicle
- 30 - Road transport
- 40 - Air transport
- 50 - Mail / post
- 60 - Multimodal/combined transport (Active mode of transport unknown). This code can be used if the goods have been shipped using two or more different modes of transport.
- 70 - Fixed transport installations (Pipelines, electricity wires etc.)
- 80 - Inland waterway transport
- 90 - Unknown mode of transport
