Update Part
In the Update Part procedure you will also find part settings that must be configured. Parts that will be managed via EDI have certain requirements:
- must be registered on parts that are sold via EDI. The customer's part number must be registered for that customer on the link.
- must be registered on parts that are purchased via EDI. You must select the link to be included in Print EDI Delivery Schedules.
- should be registered for parts, if it is received or should be sent with the delivery schedule or order.
- must be registered for parts, if you want to include packaging in your EDI messages. In this case, packaging parts with structures must first have been configured.
If you have a large part register, the abovementioned measures may be the most extensive basic settings and registration that you have to carry out before you can start using EDI in MONITOR.
