Configuration for part will automatically open.In connection with quotes and registration of orders, e.g. registration of a customer order row for a part which has a linked configuration group, the window Configuration for part will automatically open.
In this window you can make different selections according to the selection groups (pos. 1) and alternatives (pos. 2) that have been registered for the configuration group in question.
In a summary of the selected configuration, you can see price and standard price for each selection group. A total price for the entire configuration and a standard price is also displayed (pos. 3).
By using the Confirm button you add the selected configuration to the order rows, see image. Each selection alternative in the configuration is displayed as row type 4 (additional text) on the order. The selected configuration can also be loaded for each order row, by using the 
button further to the right on the order row, in case any changes need to be made.
The price of the complete product is also bases on the configuration and can, on the order row, directly be compared to e.g. standard price (pos. 1).
In connection to the registration of customer orders you also have the opportunity to automatically generate a serial number per order row (pos. 2). The number series is defined in advance per part code. The serial number is linked to the integrated product register and can be used to add information about the product to provide increased traceability and follow-ups of a unique product.
