The Preview Tab

Under the Preview tab, you can preview the list to see what it would look like if printed. In this mode, you will see Navigation buttons in the window functions, which can be used to move between the beginning and the end of a page or the entire list.

Below you will find a printout sample of a pick list with standard settings. The list shows information about each incorporated part in a structure. For each incorporated part, you can see the Period when the part shall enter manufacturing, fully cleared (C), Cleared quantity, Available balance in location, Location, Pick location (P), Quantity to pick, Unit and a column where you can enter the picked quantity.

At the far right you will see different symbols that describe a picking code for each location. This will be shown if the available balance does not cover the material requirement. The picking codes are described here:

• ( ) - Parts can be picked, but not the whole quantity. (Quantity > available balance and available balance > 0)
• (0) - Nothing can be picked according to the balance. However, you should check and see if there is a physical balance that can be picked on that location. (Quantity may be > 0 but the available balance shows = 0)
• (X) - Nothing should be picked. (Quantity = 0)
