Choose between Start/finish at will and Only change. This option determines how work orders will be recorded in the Recording Terminal.
Start/Finish at Will
This setting allows the employee to start and work any number of jobs at the same time. If more than one work is being carried out at the same time, the worked hours will be divided so that all jobs are given the time they were active, except for batch recording. If three jobs are in progress during eight hours, all three will be given eight hours and the total work time will be 24 hours, while the attendance time for the employee is still only eight hours.
If you use Start/finish at will, you can perform batch reporting of consumed material when several operations shall be reported as finished at the same time. This alternative is available when right-clicking. This requires that the user has got user rights to perform manual material reporting.
Only Change
This setting creates a recording sequence of Start/Finish work, so that a new work cannot be started before the previous one is finished. That means that only one job - or one batch - can be worked on at a time. The work time will now be the same as the attendance time, with reservations for any exceptions.
The option to work on several different jobs at the same time still remains, by using so-called batch recording, which divides the time on the different jobs included in the batch.
