Here you can report Consumed quantity. If you have selected Suggest rest on material, the system will suggest the planned material consumption for the part that was selected in the structure map. If you have selected Material follows operation, the system will suggest the planned material consumption for the finished quantity that was entered in the operation rows. If none of the above alternatives have been selected, the system suggests zero (0) for the Consumed material quantity.
You can choose to report material on a manufacturing order in the standard unit instead of the alternate unit. This is activated per work center and will affect reporting made in the Recording Terminal and Comprehensive Reporting procedures. The setting is called Report material using standard units and you will find it under the Miscellaneous tab in the Update Work Center procedure.
On the material rows you can select the Extended update feature, which can be found in the Info menu or by using Alt+U.
