If variables are applied in the Product Configurator supplement, you will see a section called Formulas under the Create tab.
By selecting a formula type, these formulas will be displayed in the list under the operations and material in which they appear, with a microhelp for type of formula and configuration group as well as the actual formula. If no formula type is selected, you will see an asterisk (*) instead in the list to the right of the setup time, unit time, setup quantity and quantity, if there are formulas that appear in them.
You can select between three different formula types as described below. The formula types available depend on how you have configured the settings Use time formula (only config.), Use quantity formula (only config.) and Use instruction formula (only config.), under the Preparation under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure.
Time formulas
By selecting this alternative, the system will show formulas for setup time and unit time that are entered under the f(x) button on operation rows in the preparation.
Quantity formulas
By selecting this alternative, the system will show formulas for quantity that are entered under the f(x) button on operation rows in the preparation.
Instruction formulas
By selecting this alternative, the system will show formulas in instructions that are entered under the f(x) button on operation and material rows in the preparation. If this alternative is not selected, you will see the regular instructions under the I button on operation and material rows instead, if there are any.
Configuration group
Here you can select if you want to display formulas for a certain configuration group in the list. If you leave the field empty, formulas for all configuration groups will be displayed.
