What Does This Procedure Do?
This procedure allows you to print delivery reminders and send them to the suppliers for those purchase order rows that have not been delivered by the supplier or arrival reported within the given delivery period.
You can also send delivery reminders to the supplier via e-mail. E-mail recipients of delivery reminders are entered under the Info tab in the Update Supplier procedure.
It is possible to select by Reference before printing. You can also select to print delivery reminders for only order confirmed order rows.
The delivery reminder form is used to summarize all the order rows per supplier that fulfill the conditions mentioned below.
In this form, you can print a column where the supplier can fill in a new delivery period for each order row. This is determined by the setting called Print new delivery period in the Form Settings procedure in the Global Settings.
Conditions for Printing Delivery Reminders
In order to print a delivery reminder for an order row, the following conditions must be fulfilled:
Managing Windows
The Search Form in this procedure consists of two portions. In the left portion of the window, you select the printout by entering an interval of Supplier code, Supplier name, Category, Order number or Our reference. If you leave these fields empty, the system will print all delivery reminders for the overdue order rows.
In the right portion of the window, you can uncheck (deselect) individual suppliers. When the right portion of the window is activated, you can also click on Preview to preview the printout.
There are two methods for printing Delivery Reminders; "Preliminary selection" and "Direct printing via intervals". These methods are the same as the methods used in the Order Confirmation Reminders procedure.
