Your MONITOR system allows you to create Alternate preparations. An alternate preparation means that you can configure certain terms and conditions for operation and material rows during preparation. Terms and conditions mean that an operation row or material row should replace the previous row, or that an extra row should be added, for example for a particular customer or a certain period of time etc.
In order to use alternate preparations you must configure the setting Use alternate preparations?, under the Preparations heading that you will find under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure, either to 0 or 1. If any of these alternatives applies, a number of fields appear under the heading Terms for structure explosion under the Create tab.
The current revision is always considered during conditional explosion although the revision is not available in the term fields.
