If you have installed the supplement called Product Configurator, you can here link a configuration group to a part with a basic preparation. If you use the PopUp feature or the F4 key, you can search for configuration groups. Configuration groups must be created in the Update Configuration Group procedure.
A configurable part should be registered with Traceability to make the requirements planning and inventory valuation work. When a part is linked to a configuration group, a recommendation appears saying that traceability should be set for the part.
