Order Types
Under Order types you select if the analysis should consider previous sales forecasts, quote backlog, CDT, suggested reservations, and safety stock. By default the alternatives sales forecasts, suggested reservations, and safety stock, are checked. The available alternatives are:
- Sales forecasts – (default) the analysis also takes forecasts created in the Register Sales Forecast procedure, or customer order rows registered as forecasts (row status >1) into consideration. Any adjustment of created orders is done according to the help section for the Requirement Calculation procedure.
- Quote backlog – the analysis will also consider the quotes in the quote backlog that have been selected to be included during simulation / requirements planning in the Register Quote procedure.
- CDT - the analysis will consider reservations made in the Check Delivery Times procedure.
- Suggested reservations (Sug. reserv.) – (default) the analysis also takes reservation suggestions that were generated by Netting runs into consideration.
- Safety stock - (default) the analysis will consider the safety stock for the parts.
