In the Part number field you select the part number for the serial number. The part number can also be updated from invoicing. You can change the part number for an existing serial number. Then a control question appears informing you that the part has been modified and you can choose to continue or cancel. In the Name field you can see the part name.
This serial number can then be complemented with additional information in the other fields under the different tabs.
