General Information about Register Budget Chart

What Does This Procedure Do?

This procedure is used to register budget charts. A budget chart, or seasonal fluctuation, is a chart that shows how large a percentage of the annual total that should be distributed between the different periods.

Budget charts are used when registering your budget in the Register Budget procedure in the Accounting module and also when registering forecasts in the Register Forecast procedure. You can also use the budget charts to describe seasonal fluctuation for parts.

The budget chart is registered with a percentage for each period, and is then used when you register your budget, when it will distribute or allocate the total budget in accordance with the percentages you have entered.

You can register up to 999 budget charts in the system. During registration, a consecutive number is entered manually together with a name for each individual budget chart.

You can print your registered budget charts using the Print Budget Charts procedure in the Accounting module.

This procedure can also be found in the Budget/Forecast menu in the Accounting module.
