Program Window

Here you can read a description of the interface in MONITOR and how the layout of the program is created. It also describes several general functions and commands found on menus and toolbars in the Program window.

MONITOR consists of a program window in which you open the procedures in their respective windows, via menu selections or shortcuts. Each procedure window can be moved around in the Program window workspace. The technology used is compliant with Windows MDI standard. (Compare with the use of multiple open documents in Word.) MDI is short for Multiple Document Interface.

The Program window is the first thing you see when you start MONITOR. The Program window also has a status bar at the bottom of the window where you find certain information and where you can also take actions by double-clicking. The program window also displays a start page that can contain varying information.
