Program Window Functions
You can make different basic choices and take various steps to configure your own personal settings of the user interface in the Program window in MONITOR. The different functions available are:
- Change company - Located under the File menu. Here you can change company database to work with. Here you can per user enter that a certain company should be opened by default. It is also possible to logon as another user. See also: To Change Company.
- Change accounting year - Located under the File menu. This is where you choose different accounting environments. See also: To Change Accounting Year.
- Change warehouse - this alternative is added to the File menu when using the supplement Warehouse Management. This is where you choose different warehouses. See also: To Change Warehouse.
- My windows - Located under the Settings menu. Here you can create shortcut keys to access your daily procedures. Or as an alternative, add these procedures in AutoStart in order to automatically open your daily procedures during startup. See also: My Windows / AutoStart.
- Customize - Located under the Settings menu. This contains features that allows you to customize the appearance and location of the toolbars, to make them visible or invisible, and also to configure settings for your printouts. See also: Customize.
- Change language... - Located under the Settings menu when the program window is empty. Here the user can select language to use in MONITOR from a list of supported languages. The corresponding language configuration can also be made by the administrator for several users in the Users procedure in the Global Settings module. See also: To Change Language.
- Change password - the user can change his/her password for logging on to MONITOR. See also: Change Password.
- Property Management - Located under the Settings menu when a procedure window is open. Here you will find a more advanced property management which allows an administrator to make certain modifications in the action and layout of the procedure window, and save these in property profiles. - Start page - When no procedure windows are open or when the procedures are minimized, the user can easily see information relevant to his/her work. See also the section Start Page.
