Start Page

If "Start page" has been activated in MONITOR, this Closedstart page is the first you will see in the program window when starting MONITOR. The start page contains different components and you will quickly see relevant information adapted to you or to the user group which you belong. The start page is displayed when the program window is empty and also when all procedure windows are minimized.

Example of a start page in MONITOR.

To be able to work with the start page, the system administrator has to activate the setting Use start page, under Miscellaneous under the System tab in the Settings procedure. There you can also configure a time interval for background calculation, when the information should be updated on the start page. By default this takes place once every hour. The user can also update/reload the information manually by double-clicking at the top of the start page.
A Start page can also be displayed in the Recording Terminal. This is determined with the setting Use start page in Recording Terminal.
A start page also needs to be created, configured and linked to users/user right groups. It can also be defined as a general start page for all users. This is configured in the Configuration Start Page procedure in the Global Settings module.
