Menus
MONITOR has two menus in the program window:
- The Window menu which contains both standard Windows functions and functions for the procedure window that is currently active in MONITOR.
- The Procedure menu which contains sub-modules and all the procedures in MONITOR.
The window menu at the top and the procedure menu to the right of the module buttons.
If the supplement Electronic Invoice Management is used, there is also a menu called EIM which appears in modes where images of scanned invoices are displayed.
Toolbars
MONITOR also has five different toolbars in the program window:
- The Module menu with the buttons shown below where you can go to the different modules.
- The My windows toolbar which can contain shortcuts to the procedures you most often use.
- The Find procedure is a field used to quickly find procedures using pattern search. You can also use the procedure ID as a search term. The shortcut Alt+D can be used.
- The Window functions contains functions related to the procedure window in use at the moment and also a help button which can be used to access help sections regarding the program window. There is also a button for instructions that are written in a separate procedure. The functions which you find in the Window functions toolbar can also be found under File, Edit, and Help in the Window menu.
- The Status bar displays different information and it is where you can also perform certain actions by double-clicking.
The toolbars (except for the status bar) can all be moved around in the program window. They can be placed either at the top or bottom, to the right or to the left in your window, or they can be floating. You can also determine if the buttons should show text, a button description, and whether they should be visible or not. To change the appearance or location of the buttons, please see the Customize section. In the example below you will see how the toolbars are placed as standard.
