In this section, you will find settings that apply to economic/financial issues.
Company currency part of EMU's monetary union?
You should activate this setting if the company currency (the currency your company uses in general) is a part of the EU's Monetary Union. For example, if your company uses Swedish kronor = SEK as the company currency, this parameter should not be checked.
When a country in the European Union (that has another currency than EUR) decides to convert to usage of EUR, this setting should be activated. This means that the translation of currency is always made via EUR and that no exchange rate differences between currencies within the monetary union are created.
If you check this setting, the conversion factor field will never be displayed when you register entries in the EMU currencies. Furthermore, the exchange rates for all foreign currencies in the Currencies procedure should always be entered versus the EUR.
Payment format
The system supports electronic payments to suppliers. The payment basis is created in the Accounts Payable and is sent electronically to your bank.
Before you register payment information for suppliers, you must here always enter the kind of international payment format that will be used, in other words, which bank the company uses or PlusGiro.
In order for SEPA to function you must select Nordea in Finland or Samlink in Finland.
Payment format - confirmation
Using this setting you determine which payment format that you should be able to confirm in the Confirmation LB / FB procedure. The following formats can be selected:
Number of VAT codes that will be managed in the system
It is possible to choose to manage from 4 up to 9 VAT codes in the system. The VAT codes' percentages are then entered in the VAT COdes procedure.
Show 'Approved for F-tax' on forms
This setting determines whether or not the text Approved for F-tax should be printed in the footer of invoices and other forms.
