Cost unit is another sub-group to accounts / cost centers. It is mainly used to further divide expenses and income one step further than just the account/cost center level. Here you can enter a name for the cost unit.
For example, cost units could refer to a particular seller in the sales department (= cost center). By using cost units, you can track expenses per cost unit, for example the car expenses for a certain seller.
