The Product group table has two main functions. When you register part, you link each part to the product group of your choice. Since each product group is linked to separate sales or purchase accounts, these accounts will automatically be loaded during invoicing or purchasing. Here you can enter a name for the product group.
When you print sales or purchasing statistics, you can also choose to select per product groups.
The Alias column to the far right is used to be able extract data from the product groups to MONITOR Business Intelligence.
