Work Flow when Receiving Delivery Schedules

This chapter will give you an example of the work flow when using EDI in MONITOR. In this case, we will look closer at receiving delivery schedule orders from customers. This might be the most common use of EDI. However, we will not describe how the actual transfer of EDI messages takes place. You can read more about that in the documents connected with the EDI Bridge.

EDI Bridge

The EDI Bridge carries out the actual transfer of delivery schedules between the sender (the customer) and the receiver (your company). The transfer usually takes place via X.25 at the scheduled date and time.
