Your MONITOR system allows you to create Alternate preparations. An alternate preparation means that you can configure different terms for operation and material rows during the preparation. Terms mean that an operation row or a material row can replace the previous row, or that an extra row should be added, for example for a particular customer or a certain period of time etc.
In order to use alternate preparations you must configure the setting Use alternate preparations?, under the Preparations heading that you will find under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure, either to 0 or 1. If you use alternative 1, the term columns will be available if the checkbox Show terms is checked under the Create tab. If you use alternative 0, the term columns appear from the very beginning.
