In the Max. quantity column, you can enter the maximum number of selection alternatives (parts) that must be included in a configuration for this selection group. This field is activated if you for a selection group have selected the type Not mandatory selection (several). The value entered in the field Max. quantity is checked at each selection to make sure that the max. quantity is not exceeded.
The maximum quantity can be used when the number of selections are set to several, but the total quantity can not exceed a certain quantity (the cause may be space restrictions and such).
