The Summary Tab
The Summary tab shows a list containing the totals from the other lists.
The summary shows two alternatives of the pre-calculation for the highest level part. One is based on one part and one is based on the lot size for which the pre-calculation was ordered. The incorporated records included in the summary are derived from the total sums of the other lists (see the image above that includes explanations under the link).
The summary consists of the following costs.
- Manufacturing cost that consists of Material + Subcontracting + Manufacturing.
- Cost price that consists of Manufacturing cost + Sales overhead.
- Information about the respective share of the Manufacturing cost that applies to Material (%), Manufacturing (%) and Subcontracting (%).
- The throughput time in number of work days between the start and finish point, for the selected lot size and the finish period. The throughput time including material procurement includes the lead time for the purchase parts that have the lot sizing rule L (lot-for-lot).
- Worked hours.
- Result (SEK/time). Shows a weighted average for cost factors. This information is more important in the Post-Calculation. There you can also see the formula used for the calculation.
- Value added is
where C SO = SO mark-up, CSalesov = Sales overhead, CManf = Manufacturing cost, CSubc = Subcontracting cost
- Quote Price that consists of Cost price + Profit mark-up (%).
By activating the Exclude Setup in Calculations? setting, under the heading Calculations that you will find under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure, you can see the Cost price and Quote price excluding the setup cost but and the setup cost shown separately.
