Type of Form

Here you can check the Fax box for those order confirmation reminders that should be sent to suppliers via a fax program. If you select this option, a special e-mail form will be used for printing. It is possible to customize this form in the Form Settings procedure in the Global Settings module. The Fax setting also fulfils two main functions:

• By default, the Fax option determines that you can only print a reminder for one supplier at a time to a fax printer.
• If you have the supplement Fax Integration, you can also use Fax with a supplier interval, as long as there is a link to a predetermined fax program. (Read more about this function below.)

Conditions for Printing an Interval to Fax

• To be able to enter an interval for the form type Fax, you must select a fax program in the setting Fax program for direct fax during form printout?, under the heading Fax / E-mail that you will find under the Global settings tab in the Settings procedure. This exists as a Supplement to MONITOR, read more about this under Fax Integration in the MONITOR Supplements chapter in the MONITOR Basics.
• The selected fax program must be installed on the computer that is running MONITOR.
• The correct fax number must have been entered in the Fax number field in the Order header. You can enter the fax number under the Info tab for those suppliers whose purchase orders should be sent via fax. You can then select those numbers in the fax number field in the Order header.
