Show
This portion of the window contains a list of employees, showing their employee number, first name and last name, as well as the attendance status of the employees, shown as a figure in the left margin:
-
- (green) Clocked-in without work
-
- (green/red) Absent
-
- (green with wheelbarrow) Clocked-in and started Direct work
-
- (light green with wheelbarrow) Clocked-in and started Not order-bound work
-
- (red with wheelbarrow) Clocked-in and started Indirect work
-
- (calendar) Planned absence
- If nothing is shown, the employee has status Not clocked-in.
This list can be limited to showing employees per department, if you enter a department in the Department field. Select a department by clicking in the list box symbol, or pressing F4. Select <All> to show all the employees.
Select an employee that you want to report as absent, by double-clicking on the Employee number, or just "drag and drop" the employee over to Start absence. Under Info about you can see the selected employee.
Depending on the employees attendance status, the procedure will work in different ways:
- Case 1 - If the employee is "Not clocked-in", then the heading will say Start absence.
- Case 2 - If the employee is "Clocked-in", then you must end the attendance (by clocking-out) before you can start the absence. This command must be confirmed via a dialog box.

After that, End attendance will appear automatically. Only after you have clocked-out the employee (ended their attendance) then Start absence will appear.
