Reporting Type
Select the type of reporting that you want to perform. The standard option is Quick reporting. The available options are:
- Quick reporting - Use this to perform partial reporting of the Finished quantity for an order or part number. You can choose whether to report an Operation and/or Material. If you choose to report an Operation, you can also report Time and/or Quantity. You can also choose whether to Delete rest for an Operation and/or Material. For example, if you have actually used more or less time or material than planned, you can also make exception reports after the fact. In this case, you should use Operation Reporting, Material Reporting or Comprehensive Reporting and enter the adjusted values (even negative values) during reporting.
- Rest reporting untouched items - Use this to rest report all the items in a Project, Order number or Part number that have no previous reporting. This option does not allow you to report Finished quantity or Delete rest. The other alternatives for this option are the same as for Quick Reporting. Another exception report alternative than the one described under Quick reporting, is to first report the actual values in any of the three abovementioned procedures and later perform rest reporting for untouched items.
- Rest reporting all items - Use this to rest report all the items in a Project, Order number or Part number, and those items that have partially reported values will be filled up to reach the planned values. With this option, you can perform rest reporting for an entire project, order or part. This option does not allow you to report Finished quantity or Delete rest. The other alternatives for this option are the same as for Quick Reporting.
- Delete rest - Use this to quickly finish off an order that has been partially reported and that is not going to be finished. You can delete rest for all the incorporated items, operations and materials, without reporting anything. The status is set to 4 (Finished), and an order can be opened in the Final Reporting procedure. All operations and parts receive a finish date and can be included in the Post-Calculation Selection procedure.
