General Information about Print Delivery Schedules - Subcontract

You will find a general description of how to manage lists in MONITOR in the chapter Managing Lists in the System under General in the MONITOR Basics guide.

What Does This Procedure Do?

This procedure is used to create a form or an EDI file containing data about the subcontract purchases and forecasts. The purpose is to inform the subcontractor about what kind of work load they can expect at the moment and in the near future. The form can be sent via e-mail. The first reference's e-mail address is used. If there is no such address, the supplier's general e-mail address will be used instead.

Managing Windows

The Search Form in this procedure consists of two portions. In the left portion of the window you will find a number of selection alternatives. If you leave these fields empty, the system will print all the delivery schedules.

By using the Preliminary selection in the Window functions, you will see the result of the selection. In this mode, you can also choose to Preview the printout. For a more detailed description of the Delivery Schedule - Subcontract list, please see printout samples.

EDI Export

There is a supplement that is used to export the printout to an EDI file and send it to the subcontractor. If you use this supplement, the setting EDI export in Print Delivery Schedules - Subcontract shall be configured for subcontractors to which you want to export the printout via EDI. This setting is found under the Extra info button under the Info tab in the Update Supplier procedure in the Purchase module. A link for this type of EDI export must also be registered in the EDI Links in the Global Settings module.

EDI Export via AutoRuns

In this procedure the EDI export can be run via AutoRuns if the supplement above is installed. In order for this to work you must select the setting Only EDI export in the Search Form. The AutoRuns is included in the supplement MONITOR Agent.

No form printout is made in this procedure when using AutoRuns.
