Click the I button if a special preparation instruction should be entered for the material. By doing this, an Instruction window will be opened where you can enter instructions for the material. Instructions on material are also included in the purchase order suggestions and purchase orders if you have configured the Insert text rows on P-order from instruction on material setting under Product Configurator under the System tab in the Settings procedure.
If it is a purchase part and you have activated the setting Create own additional text numbers on M-orders?, under Orders under the Manufacturing tab in the Settings procedure, the following applies: If you enter an instruction here and a comment is entered for the part under the Manufacturing tab in the Update Part - Inventory, these are merged into one comment under a new additional text number on the part's material row on the manufacturing order.
