If you have selected the list type Price check you can select against which price you want to check the part price on a customer order. The following alternatives are available:
Check against Valid Through Date
If you select this option, a check is made to control if the order date lies after the valid through date for the part's price.
If the part has got a future price this can be considered by activating the setting Use future price in price lists, customer/supplier links? under the section Price management under the System tab in the Settings procedure. The future price will then be suggested in case the regular price has expired. A check is also made to see if the order date lies after the valid through date for the future price.
If you have configured the setting Use staggered sales/purchase prices on parts?, under Price management under the System tab in the Settings procedure, the system will take staggered prices into consideration. A check will then be made of the ordered quantity. If the ordered quantity is within a certain staggering limit, the staggered price will be set as part price.
