You have the opportunity to automatically create purchase order from customer order, in the same way as when you automatically create manufacturing order/manufacturing order suggestion from customer order. This is governed by the system setting Create purchase order from customer order, under Automatic M-/P-orders from Customer Orders under the Sales tab in the Settings procedure. If you create purchase orders from customer orders and the customer order row’s coding contains a project, the project number will also be set on the purchase order row’s coding if the purchase account has “Yes” or “Mandatory” for projects in the chart of accounts.
